These links will take you to the layouts created by other modellers, both individuals like yourself and group efforts by friends or clubs. All different scales and gauges but all having one thing in common, they all show a love of railway modelling and the preparedness of so many people to spend their time, skills, and hard earned cash, in following this great hobby of ours.

0 Gauge : 7mm scale and as far as we are concerned the 'big boys' at the party. This doesn't mean that you have to have a huge amount of space or a big bank balance to operate in this scale. (mind you the big bank balance helps whichever scale you are modelling in. ) Some of the layouts you see by following the links will illustrate this point.
00 Gauge : 4mm scale and where most of the UK's modellers interests lie. Links here to all modelled areas of the nations railways. From times past to the latest high speed trains. Also included are links for the 4mm finescale enthusiasts, EM for example.
N Gauge : An increasingly popular scale/gauge which may, in a few years time, oust 00 gauge from it's present number one spot in the railway modellers interest. Included in this section are 2mm scale layouts. What some people describe as fine scale N gauge.
Narrow Gauge : This covers all scales and gauges with a multiplicity of combinations. Again increasingly popular and deservedly so. There is some very fine modelling being carried out in narrow gauge.
H0 Gauge : H0 gauge is included because some of the very best modelling can be seen in this gauge, especially on American sites. Although a different scale to our own 4mm, the gauge is the same, and some of the ideas and scenery on these layouts can easily be applied to our UK layouts.
